Reinsurance Accounting June 7, 2010

A full day seminar on the topic of Reinsurance Accounting was held on June 7, 2010 at the Karachi Sheraton Hotel.

Mrs. Achala Nayak, Director, J B Boda & Co (S) Pte Ltd, Singapore conducted the day long seminar and extensively covered the topics of Reinsurance Accounting for proportional and non proportional treaties.
The seminar was highly interactive as during the course of the presentation the participants raised a lot of questions to which Mrs. Nayak explained in depth and at the end of the day the participants left with a better understanding of the topic.
Participants from insurance / takaful companies attended the seminar and at the conclusion of the seminar, the participants were paired in groups to work on various case studies. Mrs. Nayak presented a box of chocolates to the wining group.
